I visited Mexico for the first time last weekend. We went to Rocky Point and stayed in a nice condo by the beach. This was my first time being out of the country as well. All I can say is, I LOVE AMERICA. We were almost arrested three different times. Two times we paid our way out. $550 in total fines. The other we got a warning. We were charged with an open container, hit/run, and indecent exposure. The last one was our warning. I know if we were in the states, punishment would probably be more severe for those crimes. But at least we know the consequences. We were basically at the mercy of the feds which was way scary.
Don't get me wrong, I am so going back to Mexico and I had a great time. But, I love knowing my rights and freedoms.

It was the others in the group. My man and another couple. My man is responsible for hit/run and open container. The other guy got the indecent exposure. He was hammered on the beach and decided to put on his trunks right where he stood. Apparently trying to get dressed in the sand while being extremely drunk is difficult. He fell so many times we lost count and his junk was everywhere. It was well worth the trouble. It was kind of fun being the sober one out of the bunch. They kept me entertained.

its not so fun right now. I saw on the news today that at least 23 people were killed by the drug gangs on the weekend in TJ and they are kidnapping americans and holding em for ransom. I met somebody that was kidnapped down there earlier this year.

Kidnapping? Drug gangs?
Why don't they just come to America and pick berries like all the other mexicans? geez.
