My MRI results...that is..from the injuries i received from the stupid bitch who rear-ended me at approx 45 mph.

I have a torn disc in my neck, and another one in the middle of my back (C5-6 & T8-9), and accompanied by 3 bulging discs; C5-6, C6-7, & T8-9. Desiccation (drying, due to absence fluid in the disc) is present at levels: C5-6, C6-7, & T8-9. Since tears are in 2 out of the 3 bulging discs, and dryness is present in all of them...you'd think that third bulging disc would also have a tear in it. I've been right all along...and everyone else involved have just been holding everything up. My attorney's paralegal even had the nerve to say "at least the MRI scans prove that the pain wasn't all in your head". I'll be addressing that with them at our meeting this Saturday.

My doc actually recommended a 2nd opinion by the guy who is referred to as an "artist" when it comes to spinal surgeries in Vegas. Doc seems certain that the "artist" is going to recommend a series of 3 cortisone/steroid injections in my neck, back, and shoulders. These injections are intended to be done in an area that is less than 0.5 mm. wide.

If I don't improve after a few months they are going to evaluate the surgical options. Doc also said doctors don't like to operate on mid-back injuries because the risk of paralysis is much higher for some reason...i'm forgetting to mention they would have to go through my chest to do that...it's gonna fuck up my tat (which is approx. halfway done after 5 hours of work btw).

Maybe I should have my appendix and galbladder removed while they're in there. rollin

Y'all laugh and joke about handicaps in the pit but the very first show I ever saw of Static-X they pushed a man in a wheelchair right up front and center. I was baffled! The man was old too...and that's saying a lot coming from me >D Needless to say he spent most of the show covering and protecting his head with his arms. Bet he never insists on being up front again! I had bruises all up and down my left leg from being pushed and pressed into his chair. This was also the show where the floor gave in! What a night!

All that sound like so much Erick. I sincerely hope all goes well. But you're young and resilient Smile

It's quite possible. My lower back has been killing me lately, and I know back pains run in the family. Frown

I'm afraid I might end up in a wheel-chair...depending on how things go...but you can bet your ass I'll be in the pit w/ my wheel chair! I'd have a lifted wheel chair with some rock-crawling rims and nice knobby tires...gotta have a nice sound system, too. I was supposed to have an appointment with a surgeon - who was going to review my MRI's and make a recommendation as to what the course of action should be, but my attorney canceled all my appointments. (the canceling of appointments is a diff topic tho...>:x) Gotta love it.

All I know is that the shooting-pains are almost all the time now, and every breath I take hurts.. It seems like now that I know where my injuries really are on my spine, I can feel the pain in these areas more....and the symptoms are more intense...is it like that for any of you other injured people?

Maybe because y'all sit in a hunched position while you are on the computer for long periods of time. haha. I jest. That is so strange how so many members have messed up health problems.

Got nothing to complain about here. Maybe a little gas, but the Tums got rid of it. Wish there was some magic medicine, like Tums, for all of you. Frown

^wish that were all it was. (i was rear-ended by sumbdumbbitch). i meet with a surgeon next wednesday (2/20(who will also be the one who would perform surgery on me (if I need it))) to discuss a course of action...I will keep you posted.

I wonder what the pit would look like at an all-handicap show.. What was that TV show? Junkyard Wars or something?
