share your recent movie experiences and perhaps make a few comments about the flick(s) Cool

this past week i've seen:

Bad Santa
Two con men (Billy Bob Thornton and Tony Cox) masquerade as Santa Claus and an elf and knock off shopping malls until they meet an 8-year-old boy who unintentionally reminds them about the true meaning of Christmas.

^^ this was a decent movie and an even better holiday movie. lots of swearing, but it was funny.
fav quote: "what is it with you and fixin' fuckin' sandwiches?"

Rollerball
The 1975 original starred James Caan as a roller-skating gladiator in the year 2005. The 2001 remake puts Chris Klein (American Pie, Election) on those wheels, as well as LL Cool J, in a fast-paced action smorgasbord full of car, motorcycle, and other high-speed chases.

^^ this movie was just not good at all. thank gosh i didn't pay to see this!

I sneak a sniff of her live wire hair.
It is bright red with random sparks.
My bionic sister teaches me inhumanity.
Parting her silver thighs and making love obsolete.

I've been catching the end of "The Rock" lately on stars when I get home from work. So now I have to dig out my VHS collection and watch it all. God will damn Nicholas Cage.

just watched 50 First Dates this morning and there were some funny parts, but it was pretty mediocre.

Romantic comedy 50 First Dates follows a veterinarian (Adam Sandler) who falls for a woman (Drew Barrymore) suffering from short-term memory loss. Because of her condition, every day their love is new — literally. He must woo her again and again or she will forget that he's the one for her.

all i know about walruses is that of all mammals, they have the 2nd largest penis Big Grin
