It was a bit on the ridiculious side. But..eh..it wasn't the worst movie I've seen.

anchorman was funnier, i think. and lets call it Ringu instead of The Ring(the original japanese version). and Transporter is the single most homo-erotic movie i've ever seen. when i watched it i must've yelled fag at the screen at least ten times.

I hope you did it in the theatre, that would have made that movie at least a little entertaining.

well if they aren't in the know then they don't deserve to be. believe me. i work in a video store and everyday i deal with "what do you mean the old version of texas chainsaw massacre? i thought that just came out!" and "do you have dawn of the dead yet? what? you've had it since the 80s? how!? how is this possible!? old version? remake? no, no, no i think you are mistaken." the same will happen with ju-on and dark water and the 90 other movies that hollywood remakes.

ju-on isnt being remade straight away cos its not that new. i had it on dvd about 9 months ago, theres a sequel and a tv remake mini series thing. that would indicate it has been around a while - or at least over a year with the japanese tendancy to make follow ups the following month heh. not that i approve of american remakes at all, i agree with the statement above that it cant be too hard to read the words for 90 minutes.

i didn't realize there was a sequel, let alone numerous ones. my japanese film class were supposed to watch Ringu, but it was unavailable on campus or something like that. i think it would've been a cool movie to see during class, but i'm not so sure i'd watch it on my own time.

well this morning i watched Lost In Translation, and Bill Murray put on a great performance. there was nothing i really didn't like about this picture.
The second feature film from writer-director Sofia Coppola (The Virgin Suicides) is set in Tokyo, where two bored, melancholy Americans — a fading movie star (Bill Murray) shooting an ad for Suntory whiskey and a young married woman (Scarlett Johansson) with an ambitious, neglectful husband (Giovanni Ribisi) — become fast friends after meeting in a hotel bar. The two spend an adventure-filled week together taking in the sights and getting to know each other.
^^ the ending was somewhat disheartening, but it leaves you thinking 'what now? what's going to happen?' whether this leads to a sequel or not (doubt it anyhow), i can't say. Jack & Jill running off into the sunset gets old sometimes (ok, always), so i give props to those who make films that end a different way.

Yeah, can't not love Batman. The cartoons are better than the real films. The new one better blow my mind.

Batman wasn't queer it was Robin, look at the old school show with the pow and bam. Robin wore leggings.
