Is five the last one? It's been so long since I've seen any of those movies, I can't even remember.

Hellboy ... fucking worst movie on the planet. There was like two fight scenes (and even those sucked, goddamn CG), and the rest was Hellboy sputting out sassy one-liners and being an overall bitch.

First of Legend. I just watched it, awesome movie.

i disagree. the majority of them are irredeemable piles of shit. i think i actually enjoyed maybe 3 of them. if you rated each jason movie on a scale of 1 to 10 and then averaged them, you'd get like a 3 or 4. if you averaged the nightmare movies you'd get a 4 or 5.

but the whole argument is moot since the best slashers were outside of those well known series and giallo films generally are better than slashers anyways.

but i digress. i watched demons last night. i don't know what all the fuss about that movie is all about. i mean, it was entertaining and all but it wasn't great.

i guess you have to be into the comics to like it. i went to the theater to see kill bill vol 2 but i forgot my id so they didn't let me in and i had to see hellboy. the fact that i wasn't that pissed off at the end of the evening shows my opinion on the movie.

and if you mean Fist of Legend, chucketh, yes. that is my favorite martial arts film next to Enter the Dragon.

I saw "The Village" and "I Robot" on Friday night. Don't waste your time seeing "The Village." It is not even a scary movie. "I Robot" was better but glad I didn't pay to see it.

I just walked in after I saw "The Village." The movie theaters over here post the times on the individual theatre marquees so you know what time the next showing is.

I dunno, I guess you have to be into the comic. I was just pissed by the complete lack of badass-ness in the film, especially when you consider that hellboy is indeed, a demon from hell. The only cool part was that nazi with the exoskeleton. They should've just showed him commiting mass genocide, that'd be entertaining.

And plus the only person with any powers that are actually cool didn't do shit throughout the whole movie. She exploded a little and thats it.

Ebert reviewed The Village, and this is what he said about the ending of the movie:

"To call it an anticlimax would be an insult not only to climaxes but to prefixes. It's a crummy secret, about one step up the ladder of narrative originality from It Was All a Dream. It's so witless, in fact, that when we do discover the secret, we want to rewind the film so we don't know the secret anymore."

that's pretty funny if you ask me Big Grin
i don't think i'll be seeing the movie anyway, whether is has good reviews or not.

Do you always listen to reviews? What if the movie looks cool to you and you read a review and they say it sucks will that stop you from seeing it?

I sneak a sniff of her live wire hair.
It is bright red with random sparks.
My bionic sister teaches me inhumanity.
Parting her silver thighs and making love obsolete.

Once I heard the ending it made me not want to see it, but I don't listen to people who make reviews to often.
