^ My gf and I both have a slim PS2 and neither of us have ever had a problem on it, playing games or DVDs.

Neither of us really use it as a DVD player though.

well yeah, the 360 owns the other systems, but I'm not exactly loaded here. $250 is as much as I can afford right now, and I'm the kind of person that makes these systems last for years.
