I have poison ivy really bad on my right inner arm. It's started to spread to my chest and stomach. I had to get my arm wrapped because I scratched it so hard it started bleeding.

I quit smoking. They sent me coupons for free packs of Pall Malls, the brand that I have a weakness for. Why couldn't they have sent those when I didn't quit smoking?

Well, you can still smoke in your house and backyard, but I'm pretty sure the CDN gov't is making that illegal too. They also wanna pass a law where you can't smoke in a car with kids in it, and maybe outdoor restaurants/bars. Maybe Abbey can add more onto that. I don't smoke, so it doesn't affect me, but it's crazy. I also think they're going to remove those huge cig stands in corner stores and whatnot. Yup, true story

There are those kinds of laws here in the states as well. In Calabasas, it is illegal to smoke outside around town and smoking was banned in bars between 5 and 10 years ago statewide. The state government is also trying to ban smoking in cars that have kids in em too.

Okay, in Toronto (which is the NYC of Canada, so they say just so you get the picture of a busy tourist city, but it goes for the whole Province (state for you US peeps) of Ontario) we cannot smoke in bars or nightclubs or resturants. We can only smoke outside those places if they're patio isn't inclosed by 3 walls, or a full roof over the patio. So I can smoke on a patio of a bar, inbetween two walls, but if a third walls there, its technically indoors and I could be fined.

No adverts in relation to smoking can be used as funders for events.

You cannot smoke in uniform or in a work vehicle, even if you are a Detective you cannot smoke anywhere near the front of the police station. Mind you, I still see cops and paramedics smoking in Uniform, same goes for the walking postmen.

As of now, we can smoke in our houses and theres NO WAY they can make that illegal. As for the kids thing, thats still up for debate.

As of June 1, all smokes sold in stores must be out of view, so they'll either have a metal wall coming from the ceiling or they are under the counter.

Yeah, I'm a smoker & I worked in law. LOL. But I don't mind the bar/resturant/club thing. I might smoke, but I hate the smell of it. It usually stuns my American friends that our smokes cost an arm and a leg. I pay 10.40 for a small pack. Remember our dollar is at par with yours too.
