Well, I consider myself to be pretty big Static-X fan. I don't usually become a big fan of any particular band, I'm just a fan of the music, but Static-X is a little different.

I mean I'm a member of their message board on the official site, and I even ordered some Static-X T-shirts and shit, and I've never done that before for any other band.

The sound of the band is a bit off, compared to most other bands I've heard and you have to actually search for a melody which I like.

I really like Wayne Static's projection of himself while he's playing the guitar and singing, I guess thats what its called.

The first song I heard from Static-X was Ostego Undead on the Dracula 2000 soundtrack which I didn't really like. Then next I heard 'So Real' on the Scream 3 soundtrack which I began to like eventually, which sparked my interest in the band's other music but I kind of forgot about it. Next I saw the Cold video which I really liked, but still forgot to buy any of their cds to hear more of their music. Then next was 'Anything But This' on the Resident Evil soundtrack, and then I bought both of their cds.

I'm really looking forward to a 3rd cd, and I hope Static-X never stops making music.

This is not my life

they probley have all sorts of ultimate fans...i mean...i dont know if any of the people are on this board...but the people that were there supporting static-x before they were signed and buying there merch...and the people that travel miles and miles to see them...i think those people are there ultimate fans...im not an ultimate fan...but i do love there music...i have been to every show in minneapolis since Rockets and Robots tour with Dope Static-x and Powerman...saw static do there headlining tour at the quest and saw em at x-fest and ozzfest and then extreme steel and then family values and then soulfly and then x-fest....i went to there dvd release thing that they had way back when in minneapolis...i have bought and traded stuff for there shirts and i have am waiting for a jacket that i bought from ebay (which is not the windbreaker but some older one with embroidery) and i have there wind breaker..i have a lot of there stickers and i have fliers of that DVD release.. i have gotten lucky and have gotten tripps guitar pick and Waynes and Tony's guitar picks from there shows...i have been lucky enough to meet them twice...Once with koichi and once with Tripp (Love ya Tripp) I have bought Wisconsin Death Trip the Edited Version and the unedited...and i have machine...Im not an ultimate fan...but i love there music...there personalities and i would support them in any way i can by buying and promoting there gear

I cannot say I am their biggest fan since I would say that I agree with Jawsh. I think anultimate fan follows the band on the road....then again, I might not be an ultimate fan since they don't come here lots and I am 14 and can't leave the city...but o well! I don't care if I am their biggest fan or not. They make great music and thats all that matters! Big Grin
