There are many reasons...the most important being my doctor has told me not speak at all unless necessary. I've been having problems with my voice lately and I'm taking it quite seriously. My main goal right now is to make through each show the best I can.

What annoyed me at the London gig is a bunch of us sat around for nearly 3 hours to get albums signed (we'd all travelled at least 100+ miles, some of the other guys managed about 400). "I'll be out in a minute" turned into sitting around freezing our tits off whilst he sat in the tour bus chatting with a bunch of scantily clad groupies, I only stayed since this'll probably be the only chance I get to see the band. Well that, and since I ended up paying over £200 for me and my missus to see the band (Travel costs,hotel etc) I wanted a memento of some kind.

Now, I know that he doesn't *need* to speak to everyone or sign albums, and it's his own choice to do so as he is really under no obligation but taking 5 seconds to say hi when he said he was going to would of been nice. Especially since fans = customers, customers = money. Don't get me wrong, the gig was fucking amazing, but I won't be forking out that much to see the band again simply because of the situation after the gig.

I still buy the albums though and listen to the music, I just won't be traveling across the country to see them again.

But at least he did come out and chat for a few and sign stuff. I'd be much more pissed if he hadn't.

All the people crying on the board about how Wayne didn't sign this or didn't sign that are really funny. Nobody forced you to sit in the cold freezing your "Tits off", you do it for the love of the band, when you bought your ticket did it say you WILL get to meet Wayne? NO!!! You went out of your way to wait by the bus to HOPEFULLY get to meet him. Do any of you realize that the bus is his HOME? When he is on tour that is his house, I don't think any of you would want to be bothered at "home". Anyway my rant here is because I have seen Wayne stand at the bus and sign stuff for a long time, we've been out and not once have I seen him turn down ANYONE for an autograph or a picture. Weve been to 4 wheel drive expos and he is trying to enjoy himself and has all kinds of people coming up to him and he takes the time to make everyone happy. So when I see shit like he didn't come out of the bus, that's bullshit, no one is forcing you to wait......only you!!!

Thought not, since that isn't what I have a problem with. I am well aware that I chose to stay there, so please don't make assumptions that I fell like I was forced to stay. If I didn't want to, I wouldn't of. I'm sure even my dog understands the concept of "If I dont want to be here, Ill leave".

All I said I was pissed at is the "Ill be out in 5 minutes" and not doing so. I consider it good manners to keep your word when you say something to someone, don't you? Even if you don't make a promise/sign a legal document/make a blood pact or whatever other countless options there are, it's still a nice, polite thing to do don't you think? I feel the same regardless of the situation, be it whilst I need to wait to purchase something, or waiting for a meeting even though the meeting should of started x-minutes ago.

Now, fair play to Wayne he was a nice chap to chat with, and I'm not saying otherwise. And I do appreciate that he does actually take the time to talk with fans, hell I appreciate that he takes time out of his day to come and interact with fans on the message board. It happens on other boards I am, but not this much.

I don't agree with the statement of him being a jerk at all, however. I personally think it's a bit harsh. But to be honest, I think they should probably of expected a higher increase of fans wanting to chat and so forth at the gigs in the UK since they can't tour here as often as in the US, so for many of us this is a rare opportunity.

Do you also realize that those "scantly Clad Groupies" could have been press/magazine interviews? Since you said yourself they do not tour here very often, they could have been someone from the venue or some business he had to atend to.You also never stated as to how long after the I'll be out in 5 minutes he came out.

I do what I can to keep my word 100% of the time, and if I can't I'll do my damned hardest to either keep someone appraised of the situation or, if thats not a possibility, apologise when I get there.

Now, they may of been press. It certainly didn't seem like it to me, but whatever. As for venue business, Im sure if it was something important they wouldnt of sent someone out in a short skirt and cowboy hat heh*

Still, even if someone had said "They're busy a sec, don't know how long they're going to be" it's better than nothing in my eyes. Yes, once again the whole "under no obligation" thing, but its still a nice gesture.

As for after the 5 minutes, it worked out to be almost 2 hours. (Yes, I chose to wait that length of time,I know I could very well of left. but I wanted to meet someone who I've been a big fan of for a long time. So I did.simple.)

Now to your point, being a regular guy doesn't mean that you shouldn't be willing to give out autographs. On the contrary, such an experience should humble you. The word for today is "humility" kids. A lot of you rockstars and rockstar wannabe's should learn that lesson.

To say that someone is being a jerk for asking for an autograph is the most assinine statement I have ever heard. Someone likes you so much that they are willing to wait for hours in the cold just so that you will sign something that they will cherish for the rest of their lives, and you call that being a jerk? I call you a pompous, arrogant bastard, based on your statement. Am I right or am I just being such an "omg, terrible bitch"?

You call it cliche? Well then I call you out as a hypocrite, sir. If you want to talk about cliche in the world of rock and Heavy Metal. Stop wearing makeup, Skum.
