First of all hi to everybody in this forum!!
Damn, I don't know how to start...oh I found it: you are unbelievable!!! It's the thought than went on my head when I listened to your sound for the first time, back in 2001. A friend lent me Wisconsin Death Trip, and when I listened to the very first track…I got shocked to know that music could be great to this extend. The sound was so insane that one could loose all his hear with head banging so much lol.. Don’t even need to go to the hair-dresser…by the way, speaking about hair….I’m not going to ask you Wayne how do you manage to have this crazy hairstyle, because it’s almost the first info that I found out while I was reading a bio of you..lol..20 minutes and.. “it’s like magic”….But the batman hairstyle from the Crash video with Mephisto Odyssey, this one is the craziest..compared to it a razor blade is not worth much..lol
But really, again about your band’s sound.. a spontaneously-out of control music, it automatically gives me a huge dose of energy without depending of my mood…Since that meeting with Static-X, you became one of my favourite bands..and it didn’t change after buying successively your albums. Cannibal is a great record, and the solos just give even more energy to it. When my father saw this album, he said you were a cannibal and that the skull of the booklet was from one of your friends..lol, he was joking.
I never went to the site before and I never saw this forum..And I really have to thank you Wayne (and Tony, Koichi and Nick, even if I don’t know if they post): Not a lot of bands take the time to answer and address directly and personally to their fans through a board.., and you’re not even an internet guy lol, that’s a real dedication.
I’m also really admiring of the fact that you are active without interruption, without breaks,..just touring non stop and then creating another record…I wouldn’t be surprised that you sometimes felt exhausted with all the touring, and also the recording process, and all the artwork, promo- related stuff that goes with it.. I just want to tell you that I’m grateful of all this constant effort and of what you managed to make.. I’ll always be respectful of all of you and the great band you guys created, and I really wish everything will go the best possible in the future…
