I think they are choosing a bad time to have a long break.. Static-x seems to be on fire at the moment, if they where to continue on then they would do great for themselves.. Maybe in a way its also a good time, because atleast they stoped when they where on top and people wont forget them, better then stopping if they where rock bottom.. I dont know, wish they just didn't have a break at all, I want more cd's!

Well, they never had any breaks since they started so it's about time that they relax a bit, Nick whats to take it easy now and it's right of Wayne to take Static-X out for a while now and so he also can work on his own project.
Sure they have been really kickass lately and I have loved that they had been relishing so many awesome albums! But even the best band have to get a pause sooner or later. Otherwise it maybe gets too much to hear Static-X all over again every year in 20years.
We have 6(7) wonderful albums with them already! We can take a break and listen to what we got and then to the next album we will be even more astonish over how awesome they are and why the're the best band in the world! <3

honestly after cult of static it sounds like the band could use some time to recharge their batteries. cult of static has it's moments but imo is the bands weakest album and a big let down after cannibal (possibly their strongest).
Let them take a short break, do the solo stuff, then come out with a huge record.

Ok, do your job for more than ten years without taking a break or vacation. See how you like it.

if my job was to be a musician with a studio built into my house and i had enough time to take up hobbies like monster trucking/off roading and i didnt spend most of the year touring... i dont think going tofr 10 years would be that hard. considering that people who have to go out and work as pipe fitters or construction crews work a significantly HARDER job.
