I understand that personal time is to be kept personal. I'm worried that Nick is not coming back. To me, he completes Static-X where they are musically right now. Can someone just say, "Yes, he will be back" or "No, he is out". My concern is about the next record coming out. Wayne said it's coming out next year in one of the interviews posted. Will Nick be back in time for that? Some news, just a yes or no, would help. Thank you!

Cool. I just want to say that I didn't mean anything negative by what I posted. I just think you did a great job when you needed a drummer after Ken Jay left, and obviously you knew where you were going musically with Static-X and you found the perfect drummer in Nick for that. I'm "impatiently" waiting for Pighammer. I'm very anxious to hear your new ideas. I play some music and it's very hard to write songs, so I respect all you do. Good luck and hope to hear some new stuff soon!!!!

Same here. It's hard to write music but you have to throw out any and all ideas you have. If only it was as easy to play the music you want as it is to think of it, you know?

Also can't wait for Pighammer. BFA dude. Hope Static-X is back soon.

Is the Pighammer record the "solo record with Wayne's wife" Tony mentions in the VampireFreaks interview? I'm not a Tera fan as the only thing prior to her contributions to Cult Of Static that I'm aware of that she's done are porn films which I don't follow, but I guess we'll see how it turns out. I'm intrigued but cautiously so.

I'm hoping for a more atmospheric, rave/industrial kind of sound, but we'll just have to wait, ultimately we should realize that these guys aren't our own personal jukeboxes. If Tera is going to be in Pighammer, does anyone know what her duties will be or if she will be playing an instrument?

I didn't like COS but bought it anyway, and will continue to support and purchase anything Wayne does because even the least of his efforts destroy everything else out there.

As for Static-X taking a break, I think they've earned it, and some time away can be a great thing in the long run, especially if Tony and Dino do another Asesino album, I think Tony is a monster of a frontman for that band, and I'm intensely anxious to see what he does.

Back on topic:
And I sure as hell hope we've not seen the last of Nick, I sure wish we'd get some news on him. You would think that there'd be some information on his doings of late....

the timeline that tony gave in that interview is very vague. the next album is all based upon how good/bad pighammer does which is basically what he said there from what i saw. others might have read that differently. that could mean a year or 10 years. who knows. I think they need to take some time off so they can get their heads back into the game and bring some back some stuff which made them popular.

i guess im of the minority, but i thought cos was a better album than cannibal musically, but im not a big fan of wayne being a monotone vocalist, which is starting to be a trend with vocalists as of late.

Fans are so impatient. I'd rather have a quality album that the band put a lot of time and effort into; rather than a rushed piece of crap because the record label told them to.

There was a handful of albums this year that I feel got rushed. So sad.

Indeed it is! the new Megadeth DESTROYS, however. Best thing since Rust In Peace! Anyway, getting back on topic, can someone in Vegas track Nick down and ask him how the hell he's doing? even if he ends up not staying in Static-X I hope he doesn't disappear like Ken Jay did, speaking of which, anyone know what happened to him and where he's at?
Nick, I hope all is well and good with you, hope you can holler at us sometime and let us know.

I don't think there is a person that actively posts here that lives in Las Vegas.
