All of them are masterpieces but WDT is simply the best IMO.

MINE is Wisconsin Death Trip for a few reasons:

-It's the first CD i have ever LOVED after the first listen-through. Usually it takes a couple listenings til i can say, "Good CD". WDT was literally right off the bat. Why?

-Because it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOo different from anything else i was hearing at the time. I had just started getting into industrial music then along comes Static-X who beautifully mixed Industrial and hard rock/metal together!

-Lyricly, none of the songs made any sense to me.....AND I LIKE THAT!!!! At a time when (and even today) most songs on the radio are Complaining about something going wrong in their life/something hat DID go wrong (Linkin Park is a good example), hearing songs that i had no idea what they were about but sounded so cool was AWESOME!!!

-The CD itself is put together damn near flawlessly. i LOVE how the enging of one song is the beginning of another (End of "Stem"---->Beginning of "Sweat of the Bud")

-December. One of the most beautiful songs i've ever heard. An AWESOME/Surreal way to end such an awesome album.

100% agreed! I think you couldn't say it better! perfect explanation, and I really feel the same way!
It was soooooo different than anything at the time, and still today...

Just PURE PERFECTION in my opinion.

I guess if I had to choose I'd go with either WDT or Cannibal. I'd probably vote WDT I guess.

WDT for all the obvious reasons, and Cannibal because I think Wane and co. just did a phenominal job on it with the guitar work, the strong structure, and the production.

Man, I used to think that Shadow Zone was my favorite because personally I love Wayne's vocals when he "actually sings", but as my music interests mature, I'm really starting to like the old stuff a lot more. It makes me angry feeling.>:]
