Hey guys, I know Cult of Static has only been out for about 7 months now, but I had a question. Do you have any plans so far for a 6th album? If you've said something about this, I apologize, I haven't been on the site since April.

Cult of Static is pretty badass, and lately I can't stop listening to Wisconsin Death Trip. Specifically "Push it" and "I'm With Stupid." I've also been watching the Cannibal Killers DVD a lot too. I had an idea for the next album (if you're making one). I thought of this idea when I looked at Megadeth's latest album. I noticed they re-recorded "A Tout le Monde" with some backup vocals. So I thought, "why not re-record one of your best songs like 'Push It,' 'I'm With Stupid,' 'Cold,' etc, etc." I'd love to hear "Push It" with an extra verse. I also had the idea of Koichi doing some backup vocals on a song. I finally found a video on YouTube where I heard his voice for the first time and it's pretty kickass (haha). So, just throwin' some ideas out there for you guys if you want to go with them.

Just a couple more things:

To be honest, I was a little disappointed when I watched Cannibal Killers LIVE, and you didn't play "I'm the One" or "The Only." Those are two of my favorite songs.

Also, did Nick cut his hair? I noticed in the "Stingwray" video that the drummer had short hair, and I wanted to make sure if that was really Nick.

Ok, peace.

p.s. I know about the Pighammer thing I can't fucking wait for that. I have no doubt it will be badass. I meant the next Static-X album.

Nick did not cut his hair (that I know of), because that is not Nick. That is Will Hunt, the live drummer for this touring cycle.

Nick has personal issues to take care of.

No offense to Static-X, but that's kinda gay that they didn't use their own drummer in the video. Still a badass video and song.

First of all, gay doesn't mean stupid.

And I'm sure they had a good reason for having Will in the video instead of Nick, or else it would've been Nick. There was probably nothing that could've been done and that's understandable since Nick has to take care of some things.

And Cult of Static is their 6th studio album.
Plans to make a 7th are on hold, I hear, because Wayne and Tera are working on a solo project. Whether it's Pighammer or not, I don't know.

Also, I don't think Static-X has a say in what they play at each show. I've heard Wayne has a part in it because he does some of the programming or something, but I don't think they control what they play. They can't play everything.

It's kind of a habit for me to say that. Everyone around here (my town) uses "gay" for stupid or retarded.

maybe you don't know that most Megadeth fans dislike that new A tout le monde!
It was intended as a bonus track but the record company then wanted it in their new album, and that song shouldn't be there.

Static-X is not a band that need to rerecord old songs. What for? Their lineup consist of a majority of all original member from Wisconsin Death Trip.

The whole premise of Cult of Static is for fans that have liked them since the beginning. Those old songs.

Besides, bands like Arch Enemy who had a sub-par vocalist in the beginning rerecorded old songs with their current singer and it sounds way better.

You can't improve on something that didn't need improvement.
