Ok, I've been saying for years that Static should cover a song by a certain MetaL band, because the song kinda sounded like Static 16 years before Static.

Agreed...Really nothing like Static-X...
It does not mean it couldn't be done of course, but it seems pretty unimaginable to convert it from that style to S-X style...
