First of all, who will know?

Second, I wanted Mr. Static to write something about himself on the official site (for example).

Maybe no one would know but man it's alot of work and he doesn't have time. I check it regularly or I try to and usually something has been jacked. But I don't really mind at all.

What would be nice is if there was a really much more detailed biography of all the band members on the official site.

I have to check that thing all the time because of vandals. Have to correct things that people constantly keep putting in that are wrong. So my point is that even if Wayne could do it he doesn't have the time to check it every day.

Now if you are so proficient at it then make a login and help out a little.

Hahahahaha. This forum cracks me up sometimes. Ok here goes.

Anyone is welcome to edit that page. When I took it up it was completely devoid of ANY references or citations which and being a biography that means pretty much the whole thing can be deleted. I had to fight off that damn asshole Prince of Darkness and involve other editors. (Well actually that was fun for me). I got the pics updated thanks to Nat for that. Thanks you Natalie. (And made a good friend in the process with Natalie who is by the way has been very supportive and helpful). So it basically means that I had to do alot of leg work with other editors to stop or slow down the amount of vandalizing going on and now it seems to have stabalized AND when there is enough info we could probably work on the style and possible get it into featured status. Which would be really cool.

Again if you have something add to it then by all means do it. Or if you just want to suggest things then go to the talk page and join the conversation about the page.

So yes if you tell me it's easy to keep up with that page then I am going to tell you to put your money where your mouth is and join in.

Take a look at this very thread in September, 1st page actually. I did edit, go look around the discussion page on wiki. So I HAVE put in my two cents, long before you did. Both without a user name and with one on Wiki.

I fought with those very people, yet again, before you did.

The difference is, I know it's a wiki page, and I know it's going to be edited and reverted. It's as easy as YOU or anyone else makes it, but it's a public site that can be changed at any given second.

I'm not going to waste my time on things that were constantly changed back and forth. And thats what it was to ME, a waste of my time, when it was being reverted. Especially after Wayne said he could give two shits about Wiki.

But really thats not the issue here, so its moot imo.

Sarcasm isn't warranted, I have a clue what wiki's about. It was what you SAID to Static-X Fan that bothered me.

Good for you that you've fixed up the page, but theres no need to be hostile to people here, which was definatly what you were doing, not stating an opinion. We are all fans, but not all of us are willing or have the time to monitor wiki.

Ok so are we done with this argument because it's getting past my bedtime and I need to sleep.

So we agree to disagree or something like that. I mean personally I think we used to much energy on this debate so I am done.

Great job on the Wiki SD! Woot woot!! Thanks for the props too - but after all.. you were the one that got me up of my lazy ass to get em up there in the first place... so props are well in order for you too, sir!

Regarding the "fighting"... I don't think that what stereodevil said to static-x-fan was at all intended to start a fight. If we can all work collectively to make the wiki good, then let's do it instead of blabbing about it. I know that many people here have put there money where their mouth is already. I for one certainly appreciate it!!! IMO, he was just asking SXfan to help out since he said it was easy.

Finally, I must say that it's disheartening to hear that people don't think wikipedia is a good source of information. I find many of the mathematics pages (and other subjects) quite good, and have definitely cleared up many of my uncertainties. All I'm sayin' is that just because one person thinks it's a load of shit, doesn't make it so. I would like to see people visit the SX wiki, and get a good source of reliable information, cuz I wanna spread the worrrrd.

Anyhow, thanks to ALL (abbey41, StereoDevil, and anyone else here) who have contributed useful info to the wiki. *I* appreciate it!! And.... I'll try to get off my lazy ass and so some mo' shiiiaaat myself.
