If Wayne were to take suggestions from fans for his new sideproject; Pighammer, what would you suggest?

What genre would you like to see?
What performers would you like to see on the album?

I'm sure what ever Wayne decides will be awesome. But this is your chance to express your views!

Me personally, I would love to see a nu-metal, gothical type of music. Some of the performers that would be sweet to hear colaborate with Wayne would be Korn, Serj Tankian or some other members of SOAD. One collaboration I know Wayne would personally enjoy, would be if Gene Simmons strapped on a guitar and jammed with him.

some realy good vocils from more of a alt rock side of nu metal xD

Actually, it would be cool if Pighammer strayed from Static-X's sound. I love the whole "Evil Disco" sound, but it would seem pointless for Pighammer to have the same sound.

Yeah, maybe static-x with "more elaborate programming" as somebody said, more flow, and maybe melodic but heavy...?

I like how you also noticed what everybody wants: Pighammer to be, essentially: Static-X. They want PH to not have a sound distinctly different from S-X.


That could be cool. Each of them could get paid a certain amount of$$ to contribute to the album, but if they were to do their parts in concert... I doubt they'd do it "because I love the music, man".

No, Static-X is a metal band that focuses around rhythm and incorporates electronics and some trancy moments.

I'd like it to be very trancy, very rave and technoish sounding, but still retain a heavy sound. Something like The Trance Is The Motion, only pushing the trance/rave sound even farther.

And PigHammer is going to be a "guest band", but I wouldn't expect Wayne to bring in many outside singers.

In fact, if Wayne doesn't do 90% or more of the vocals my interest in this project would take a nosedive off a cliff.

if it sounds just like S-x, im gonna be pissed.

if he is wroking with Al J (which he SHOULD) this will most likely be a 13th Planet album. and i REALLY hope it is.

that means there will be some programming and keyboards and prob vocals too by Al J himself. some work by Tommy Victor, Sin, John Bechdel, and maybe even Mike Scag.

i'd be VERY happy to see some OhGr and cevin key stuff on there, and id LOVE some drums by Marty Atkins, maybe some shit by Krztoff (Bile).
and Wayne seems to be on ok terms with Paul Barker (seeing as they put his remix of im with stupid ont he rarities cd) so that would be cool, though if this is a 13th planet cd... i dotn see any paul barker on it.. hahaha.

also, id love to hear some burton c bell, but since tony is great friends with dino, i donno if that would play out... seeing as dino hates burton more than paul hates al...

id like the album to be real industrial. i LOVE Static and such, but id love this to be like 'mind is a terrible thing to taste' kinda industrial, but with bigger richard z kruspe guitar tone. i would also love to have a solo or two from koichi, and at least a drum sample or 2 from nick.

I think you're probably looking too much into this Rue.

Al Jourgensen is probably only going to guest on a song or two like Wayne is guesting on Al's new cover cd.

Altho I guess anything is possible.

bt he said he is in talks with tommy too, so it kinda feels like it would fit in will with 13th planet. he even said it would be harder and more brutal than Static-X.

i was also figuring since static-x sells a lot fo copies, but nowhere near, say Pantera, waynes ideas for side projects wont get the lable backing or the promotion of say Down, or SUperjoint, that it would make sense for this to go out on 13th planet, an indi label devoted to industrial music with Al on it. haha.

i may be reading too much into this, but i'd be happy as hell if i was right.
