My bro-in-law gave me a signed premium edition version of WDT (that came in a sleeve with Japanese writing on it) 2 x-mases ago. It came w/ 2 discs, and the 1st disc sounds a tad different (in spots) than the regular version. The 2nd disc has some badass remixes on it.

I was wondering....do any of the other Static-X albums have premium editions like this?

I know they came out w/ a 2nd version of SZ that included a DVD...but are there any other foreign album versions that sound different?

There isn't anything different between a standard version Wisconsin Death Trip and the Japanese version, they sound exactly the same.

Disc 2 is though is simply "The Death Trip Continues..." which is an American promo cd.

Every album sounds exactly the same, BUT the Japanese version of Shadow Zone has a bonus track (gimmie gimmie shock treatment) the Japenese version of Machine has a bonus track (anything but this).

Then you also have the Cannibal internet edition which comes with different artwork and a bonus track (get up and boogie) and the best buy edition which has 2 bonus tracks (i'm the one remix and light it up). Cannibal is also on vinyl.

There's also a version of Start A War which includes a DVD, just like the version of Shadow Zone.

So in conclusion,

WDT - Japanese edition with bonus disc (The Death Trip Continues...)
Machine - Japanese edition with bonus track(s).. there might be one more bonus track on this one...
SZ - DVD edition / Japanese edition with bonus track
SAW - DVD edition
Cannibal - Internet edition / best buy edition / vinyl edition

Yeah.. I agree with you on this. There isn't much of a difference, but it's there. The vocals seem a smidgeon softer than the regular release, and some songs sound tinny? Kind of like there was a little reverb going on.. I dunno, but I noticed the differences too.
