Well, I just learned today my dad really likes Static-X, I was just sitting here and he was like " is that Static-X ? " Yes " They're awesome! one of the few bands I like that you listen to " That shocked me! lol. any of your parents into static-x?

My mom knows Static-X is one of my favorite bands and that I've seen them a ton of times, she'd also recognize Wayne because of his trademark hair, but other than that she doesn't know who they are.

My Mom likes some Static-X songs, for example So, Cold..., but she isn't really into the band.

she has subs in her car....

My mom likes a couple songs off of Shadow Zone, but that's it.
Both my mom and dad can recognize the band, though. So that scores them some points for sure :P

my dad took the bro and i to our first static-x concerts. concerned for our safety. he digs
'em. but then again he's always saying how he's glad we got into rock rather than rap and such of that sort. i have the raddest dad on the planet.

My Mom listens to Static-X with my sister and I.



My dad listens to Elvis Presley.

My mom listens to Mexican music and my dad to Snoop Dogg. My sister listens to hip hop, rap, and reggaeton(sp?). I'm the only one who listens to rock in my family.

My mom likes a lot of classic rock like Led Zeppelin, AC DC, Black Sabbath, etc. When I listened to nu metal and stuff from that era a few years back she started liking Korn and Marilyn Manson and stuff like that. She probably knows a song or 2 from Static-X but I dunno if she likes them.

Same exact thing with my mom. She is only into their slow ones mostly.

Like Shauna..I am the parent. I got my daughter into the, Took her to the show in MB last month.

Mom likes Brainfog... that's about it

mom my has a few songs she likes

na my parents don't like them. I played This is not to my neighbours daughter when she was like 2 and she said it was too dumb.

Heres my parents stances on it:

MOM: Likes a few of the songs, slow ones mostly. She doesnt like it when they scream and it's faster. But she does understand the music.

DAD: Probably would quote this exactly..." Turn off that headbangin' crap." He somehow can't accept that I like this music. It makes me laugh.

Thats a big negative to this question, my mum says its "The Screechings of Satan" and my dad attempts to imitate wayne but it just ends up hurting my ears
